Frequently asked, honestly answered
The questions Kansas City business owners ask us most often before we place a machine — answered straight, no upsell.
It depends on your foot traffic, and we will not pretend otherwise. A location doing eight sales a day at our $15 average grosses around $3,600 a month, which is roughly $432 to you at a 12% share — about $5,184 a year. After we walk your space we give you a projection based on your actual traffic, and the share percentage goes in writing before anything is installed.
A fixed percentage of gross sales, paid on the 15th of every month with an itemized report showing everything that sold and at what price. It is calculated on gross, not on our profit after costs, so there is nothing for you to audit and nothing to invoice.
About one square meter. The machine is roughly two meters tall and under a meter wide, on a wheeled base so it can be repositioned. It runs off a standard three-prong outlet and connects over cellular, so it never touches your wifi. No plumbing, no special install, no refrigeration.
We do, entirely. The machine reports its own inventory, so we come when it needs us rather than on a fixed schedule — typically every one to three weeks depending on how fast your location sells. Cards do not spoil, so there is no daily run and nothing for your team to check.
Most locations are live within 30 days of the first conversation. We assess, deliver, install, stock and go live.
No. Trading cards carry no age restriction, so there is nothing to verify and no reason for staff to step in. It is one of the very few vending categories with no compliance burden at all.
Our number is on the machine and refunds are handled through the screen and our support line. Your staff should never be the ones sorting it out. Jams are flagged to us remotely, usually before a customer notices.
Yes, and we do it by default. The lineup is tuned to whoever walks past your door — a supermarket gets more import product, a trampoline park gets more packs under ten dollars, a bowling alley gets more sports cards. We adjust after the first month based on what actually sold.
Two reasons. Import packs cost us far less than the English equivalent holding the same cards, which is how we sell at $5.99 instead of $12. And they are not on any shelf your customer can price-check, so the machine is not competing with the store down the road. Every lane is labeled with the language and the card count, so nobody is surprised.
We change the mix first. If that does not fix it, we take the machine away at our cost. A machine that is not moving product costs us far more than it costs you, so we have every reason to act quickly.
No long term contracts. If we're not the right fit, you tell us and we pull the machine within 30 days — no fees, no penalty, no lawyers. We have a simple placement agreement.
